Corporate Overview

Tidewater Environmental Services, Inc. is a woman owned small business that provides innovative and professional services to our clients. Our goal is to provide cost effective and timely resolutions to environmental issues. The ultimate result is the successful resolution of or closure to the client’s environmental concerns. TIDEWATER specializes in rapid remediation of commercial properties for purchase or redevelopment.

TIDEWATER has completed due diligence and remediation projects involving a variety of commercial real estate and industrial facilities. We have conducted large-scale projects consisting of Phase I and Phase II Assessments of multiple property packages throughout the state of Texas and adjoining states. Several of these projects included the completion of a Phase I Environmental Assessment and Geotechnical Services. The core requirements for most commercial transaction environmental projects are managed by Arlin Howles, P.G., who has completed over 3,000 environmental and remedial investigations.

TIDEWATER is a Registered LPST Corrective Action Specialist, CS # 71, and fulfills all TCEQ requirements to provide environmental consulting/remediation on Underground Storage Tank (UST) facilities. Our personnel have completed numerous Risk Based Corrective Action (RBCA) assessments for leaking petroleum storage tank sites (LPST’s) which have resulted in site closures.

The group's expertise regarding remediation encompasses a broad range of technologies and includes natural attenuation, in-situ remediation, bioremediation, soil venting, and air sparging. Feasibility and pilot studies are conducted on a site-specific basis to address not only total project expenses but also duration of remediation and site closure activities.

TIDEWATER has developed a mobile remedial system to perform in-situ vacuum extraction/Bio-Slurping. The unit can be connected to existing monitoring wells (two or four inch diameter). This mobile system allows full-scale remediation using existing wells without any of the construction and expense necessary for standard remedial options.
